What a beautiful poem that gives us a visual of how we get through this life sometimes. Today I want us to look at some scripture of how God supports us in our daily lives. And let me remind you that Gods word is full of ways and times God supports us.

Read these few I have chosen: Matthew 11:28; Psalm 121:7,8; Psalm 62:1;  Exodus 33:14;  2 Thessalonians 3:16;  Psalm 62:8; Jeremiah 29:11; and Philippians 4:6, 7.

What comfort it is knowing that God is always there to support us in every area of our lives. When we are depressed, when we feel lonely, when we feel helpless; He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. And that He has great plans for us.

Lets admit it, sometimes we need that human support to. That’s what our churches are for and fellowship with other Christian believers. In Hebrews 10:24-25, and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. God instructs us to get together and ‘spur’ one another on. And how many of us feel so blessed when we hear how God is working in other peoples lives. Helps us in our walk to build our faith in Him.

God is soooo GOOD to us, His children.

So feel blessed today knowing that you are supported by GOD, and you can also be supported by your fellow believers, if you allow them to.

Prayer: Dear God thank you that you carry me in my times of need and thank you for my brothers and sisters in Christ that can also be there for me. But Lord help me to realize that I can be used by You to be there for someone else in their time of need. AMEN

Action: At church tomorrow ask God to direct YOU to whom you can be a blessing to.

Sarah, The Footprints in the sand poem has been a favorite since my childhood especially when I did not understand my parent’s divorce. The above is beautifully written and encouraging. I reallly like that you have placed an action to be taken. See you tomorrow dear one.

Praise the Lord. He lifted me out of the muck and sin of this world and planted my feet on the Rock, Christ Jesus. Led me to a bible believing, Jesus praising, tongue talking church. Surrounded by and supported by born again believers. I never would have made it without this support.
