Key Verse: Amos 3:3 “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Heaven’s Kitchen
Rev. 17:14… the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called and chosen and faithful.
On Day Thirty, there was some mention of contractual agreement.
I would like to say that we are never asked to sign our names on any papers. But God said that He would write our names in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We are not asked to pay any fees. God said that He would cover the costs for us. We are, more than anything else, simply asked to come, with nothing; no preconceived notions of glory or fears of having to do anything we would not normally do. We are not asked to give one pin prick of our blood. But we are asked to come and buy, without money. We are asked to taste and experience and decide for ourselves God’s goodness. And what comes after a satisfying meal; maybe, a short period of rest and then for sure, energy. God’s word puts it this way “You shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:12).
Joy and peace: a pretty powerful combination. Sounds like a great sales pitch doesn’t it? And yet there is no cost to us, but to taste and see the goodness of the Lord. This is heaven’s kitchen. And He’s prepared His specialty, for YOU. YOU are his chosen one. The chef of heaven’s kitchen has so much confidence in his creation, he’s sure you will faithfully be coming back for more!
